Hello everyone—
I want to start this note by saying that we are in constant prayer over the recent COVID-19 pandemic. We are specifically praying for health and happiness for all in these most uncertain times. We sincerely hope that you will continue to be blessed and continue to bless others as well, even when it is difficult.
Considering these circumstances, I have a few updates on our business. First, yes—we are open! We are currently accepting both short-term and long-term guests, both via AirBnB and by phone. As always, we spend considerable time and effort to clean our cabins between guests; our cleaning efforts have only increased due to the current pandemic. We have adjusted cleaners from our usual “green cleaner” product to Lysol and warm soap/water, both of which have been proven to effectively destroy coronavirus.
We hope to demonstrate to you, our audience and future guests, that we are taking every precaution to ensure that each visitor we have in our cabins has a safe and entertaining getaway from the chaos that feels all too crushing. We ask, therefore, that you reciprocate—please follow the CDC and state guidelines for out-of-state visitors, individuals recently out of the country, or those with respiratory symptoms.
Let’s wash our hands—probably more often than we need to!
Let’s cough into a tissue or elbow, not into our hands or out in the open!
Let’s stay to ourselves if we travel out-of-state, quarantining for 14 days per government request.
Let’s celebrate the heroism of our essential workers—health care, infrastructure, food, legal—while also respecting their health and safety by staying home whenever possible.
Let’s do our best to level out that curve, if for no other reason than because we respect those in authority because of Who placed them there!
