Almost Heaven–West Virginia! Our clean, fully-furnished cabins off the U.S. 19 expressway near Summersville Lake in Mount Nebo, WV, are recently built and include full kitchens. All cabins have access to convenient watercraft-parking areas. Decks, balconies, and hardwood construction invite the rustic nature of the woodlands into the cabins.
Despite the woodland locale, convenience doesn’t take a backseat. We’re located less than one mile from the U.S. 19 expressway. Mount Nebo is host to several new restaurants, a small general store, and a local coffee shop. The cabins are also within a 10 minute drive of a variety of fine restaurants in Summersville, WV. Fayetteville has many more restaurants and shops, and is only a 20 minute drive. Fayetteville is the largest rock-climbing and whitewater-rafting destination in the eastern U.S.
More importantly to Summersville Lake visitors, we’re an easy drive of less than five minutes to the nearest Summersville Lake boat launch. Summersville Lake Marina is only 10 minutes away. The Gauley River boat launch and the lake’s public beach and swimming area are less than 10 minutes away. Civil War-era sites at Keslers Cross Lanes and Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park are less than a 15-minute drive.
